Dr. Gabriel Martinez

“Dr. Gabe” — Board-Certified Pediatrician

Dr. Juan Gabriel Martinez (Dr. Gabe) is a Board-Certified Pediatrician through the American Academy of Pediatrics and has over 20 years experience working with children in multiple facets. Dr. Gabe is a native Arizonan and completed his entire education here in Arizona including graduating from Arizona State University, Midwestern University College of Medicine, and completed Residency at Phoenix Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Gabe is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He has served on the Board of Directors of two non-profit organizations, Arizona’s Children Association and the Arizona ACE Consortium, which are both dedicated to the health and well-being of Arizona’s children. Dr. Gabe also spends part of his week serving as the sole Pediatrician in a small, isolated and medically underserved town on the San Carlos Apache Reservation.

Dr. Gabe prides himself on his unique approach to holistic medicine which emphasizes a balance of physical, mental, nutritional, and environmental factors to help children achieve optimal health.

Amber McCrory-Martinez

“Counselor Amber” — Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Licensed Associate Counselor Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist Iraq War Veteran ACEs Trainer

Amber McCrory-Martinez, “Counselor Amber”, is a Licensed Associate Counselor, with additional certifications as a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist in Addictions, Certified ACEs (Adverse Childhood Events) Trainer, and is TheraPlay informed. She has been working as a counselor with a diverse clientele from the age of three to sixty-five, individuals and families, foster and military children, all with a diverse cultural background. Counselor Amber obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communication with a minor in Health Sciences from University of Nebraska at Kearney in 2008, then her MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University in 2019.

Counselor Amber became passionate about mental health after serving as an Army convoy medic in Iraq. This experience helped her to understand the impact mental health has on overall physical and mental well-being. The medical knowledge she has combined with her experience as a trained counselor has instilled her passion in early intervention, parent involvement and a whole-body approach to mental and physical well-being. Amber’s counseling work is informed by Attachment theory, ACEs and trauma work, cultural healing practices, play, art and bibliotherapy.

In her free time, Counselor Amber enjoys spending time with her husband, training and playing with her three dogs (one of which is in training to become a service dog).

Emily Wilson

“NP Emily” — Family Nurse Practitioner

Board Certified FNP Pediatric Emergency Pediatric Intensive Care MSN George Mason University

Emily Wilson is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a strong background in pediatric care. She began her nursing career in pediatric emergency medicine before transitioning to pediatric intensive care, where she developed a deep passion for working with children and their families.

Emily earned her Master of Science in Nursing from George Mason University and is excited to bring her expertise to Arizona, where she recently relocated with her husband, an active-duty member of the U.S. Air Force. Originally from Springfield, Virginia, Emily is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care and supporting the health and well-being of children at every stage of development.

Outside of work, Emily enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, and making memories with her family.
